Anbar has sold oud out of Al Olaya since 2004. We distil the rose ourselves, buy oud wood in Assam and Pursat directly, and refuse to sell an oil without printing what is in it. A blend is called a blend. A 2019 distillation says 2019. Where a grade is subjective — and most of them are — we say who graded it.

How to burn bakhoor without ruining it
Heat it, never flame it
An electric burner at low heat, or a coal that has gone grey. Direct flame scorches the resin in seconds and what you smell after that is burnt sugar, not oud.
One piece, then wait
A single piece of ma'amoul scents a majlis for around forty minutes. People load three at once, open every window in a panic, and conclude they do not like bakhoor.
Pass it through the clothes
The traditional part, and the reason bakhoor outlasts perfume: hold the abaya or the thobe over the smoke for a few seconds. It will still be there tomorrow.

Yes. Every price shown includes 15% VAT, and delivery is free inside Saudi Arabia above SAR 300. Orders to the other five GCC countries have duties and taxes paid at checkout, so nothing is collected at the door.
Yes, across all six GCC countries. Cash on delivery adds SAR 20 and is not available on made-to-order or refill orders.
Every oil states its origin, its distillation year and its grade, and every blend is labelled a blend. We do not publish a certificate, because oud certificates are not regulated and one would tell you nothing. What we do instead is send you 0.5ml first — three samples free with a first order.
11.66ml, the traditional unit for perfume oil across the Gulf and South Asia. Every oil on this site prints both, because half the people who buy them think in tolas and half think in millilitres.
Sealed bottles, within 14 days, yes. Opened oils cannot be returned for hygiene reasons — which is exactly why the samples exist and why we would rather you used them.
Eau de parfum bottles can be refilled at the Riyadh counter at 30% off the bottle price. We do not refill by post; alcohol-based liquid is restricted on GCC courier networks.
