The kitchen
Fast food, cooked like it is not
Made when you order it
Eight to twelve minutes, because nothing is cooked in advance and held. It is slower than the place next door and that is the entire trade.
Every allergen printed
On the item page, not on a laminated card by the till — including the honest bit, which is that the fryer is shared and trace gluten is possible.
Plant-based without the sermon
Everything here happens to be plant-based. We are not going to make that your problem, and there is no asterisk on any item.

From the queue
“Took a friend who eats meat and did not tell him until after. He ordered the burger again the following week, on his own.”

“Coeliac, and the tacos page said outright that the fryer is shared. Nobody else tells you that up front. I ate the tacos and skipped the wedges.”

“Ordered ahead at 12:40 for 1pm and it was on the counter when I walked in. That is the whole reason I come here on a work day.”

Allergens, timings, delivery
If it is not here, ask at the counter or message us — someone answers during opening hours.
Yes, the whole menu, with no exceptions. There is no meat or dairy anywhere in the kitchen, which also means no cross-contact risk on that front.
The tacos, curry, cucumber salad, wedges and juice are naturally gluten-free, and each of those pages says so. But the fryer is shared and the kitchen handles wheat, so we cannot call anything coeliac-safe. If you are coeliac, the tacos and the curry are the safest and we will plate them separately if you ask.
Eight to twelve minutes at the counter, because everything is made when you order it. Order ahead through the site and it will be waiting.
Thirty minutes across the city or it is free. Bowls and salads travel best; the wedges are worth eating in.
Within reason — leave out the croutons, swap the aioli, ask for the curry mild. We cannot rebuild a dish, and swapping the bun for gluten-free is a request rather than a guarantee at busy times.
Produce is bought from three suppliers within a hundred miles and the menu changes with what they have. When something is off the board it is usually because the crop is between seasons rather than because it did not sell.
