FANTASTIC MAN × HUS
Selected reading
Stories from the HUS journal.

Designed in 1957 by Swedish furniture maker Carl Malmsten, and named after the town of Skogsby in eastern Sweden, the Skogsbjd is the essence of the HUS take on Swedish craft.

Sustainability
Made to last. Designed to be passed on.
We use 100% organic cotton, 100% European linen, recycled wool, recycled polyester, and LENZING™ Lyocell. We track every material on every product. We publish our material impact every quarter. We pay our makers above market. We visit every factory personally. We don't do sales except twice a year. We don't do collaborations except with people whose work we love. We do one thing — modern Scandinavian essentials — and we do it well. The most sustainable garment is the one you already own. Wash less. Wash cold. Line dry. Mend, don't replace. Bring us your old HUS clothes and we'll repair them for free.

What HUS regulars say.
“I've bought HUS basics for years. The quality is unmatched at the price point. The wide-leg trouser is the best trouser I've ever owned, full stop.”

“The children's clothes are the only ones my kids haven't ruined in a month. The organic cotton is indestructible and gets softer with every wash.”
Devon T.
Brooklyn, NY
“The HUS café is my favorite place to work. The coffee is great, the pastry is better, and the staff is wonderful. I go every Saturday.”
Priya R.
London, UK
“I bought a HUS linen shirt in 2019. I still wear it weekly. It's the best linen shirt I've ever owned and I will never buy from anywhere else.”

HUS Café
Visit us. Stay a while.
Every HUS store has a café serving organic, fair-trade coffee, fresh pastries, and a vegetarian lunch menu. We partner with local bakeries, roasters, and farms. The coffee is from a single-source Swedish roaster. The pastries are baked on-site every morning. The lunch menu changes weekly with the season. Sit down. Bring a friend. Read a book. We're not in a hurry. The café is open the same hours as the store. Walk in. No reservation needed. We can't wait to see you.

Children + Baby
The kids' edit, in organic cotton.
Every piece in the HUS children's and baby collection is 100% organic cotton, OEKO-TEX certified, machine-washable, and designed to get softer with every wear. The fit is generous — sized up so a 2-year-old's shirt still fits a 3-year-old. The colors are the adult collection's colors, slightly softer. The prints are hand-drawn by our Stockholm design team. School + weekend + pajamas + the occasional wedding — covered.

Homeware
For the table. For the home.
The HUS homeware collection is the same philosophy as the clothing: well-designed, well-made, fairly priced. Hand-glazed stoneware from Portugal. Mouth-blown borosilicate glass from Portugal. 100% European linen from Lithuania. Hand-poured soy + coconut wax candles from Sweden. Everything is dishwasher-safe (except the candles). Everything is designed to live on the table, not in the cabinet. The plate that goes from the oven to the table. The carafe that lives on the counter. The towel that gets softer with every wash.
