The wardrobe
Four departments, one wardrobe

Why Terrace
Built to be worn, not photographed
Weight that lasts
430gsm loopback and 220gsm cotton — the weights that survive a wash cycle a week for years, not a season.
Made in Europe
Portugal, Spain and Italy. Named factories, not a vague continent, and the same ones each season.
Sized like kit
Consistent across every piece, so once you know your size here you never guess again.
Repair, don't replace
The trainers are stitched so they can be resoled, and we re-stock buttons and cords for free.
Build the kit
Three pieces, then everything else
1
Start with the hood
The Terrace Hood is the anchor. Longline, heavyweight, navy — it sets the size you take in everything else.
2
Add the polo
Collar up or down, under the hood or on its own. The one piece that moves between the ground and a decent bar.
3
Finish on the feet
Leather, gum sole, nothing on the side panel. Get this right and the rest of the wardrobe follows it.
The record
Numbers that mean something
“The best piece in the wardrobe is the one that has already been washed a hundred times.”
Since
1992
Three decades making the same wardrobe slightly better each season.
Pieces returned
1 in 22
Consistent sizing across the range is the reason this number is low.
Factories
4
Portugal, Spain and Italy. The same partners, named on every product page.
Repairs
Free, forever
Buttons, cords and a resole service for the trainers — as long as you own it.
From the stands
What people actually say
“Third winter in the hood and it has not gone shapeless. That is the whole review.”
Danny R.

“Ordered two sizes like they suggest, sent one back, no argument and no postage. Rare.”
Priya N.

“The polo collar still stands up after a season, which is more than I can say for the ones costing twice this.”
