Our story
It started with five bottles and one copper still.
In 2021, perfumer Inez Marchetti moved into a 4-square-meter cabin on a cliff in Big Sur. She brought one thing: a copper still her grandmother had given her.
She made her first five scents that winter. They sold out within a week. She made five more the following summer. They sold out within a day.
Today we have 12 scents, the same copper still, and a 22-square-meter studio. We hand-fill every bottle. We ship from our porch. We answer our own emails.
We don't believe in seasons. We don't believe in mass production. We believe in a single scent, made slowly, named after the thing it smells like.
