A matte silk-cotton with a canvassed shoulder, cut long enough to sit right when you are standing for four hours. Black without a sheen, because everything else in the room will have one.

- · Dry in shade — direct sun flattens a natural dye within a season
- · Store folded with the zari inward, never on a hanger
- · First wash will bleed a little on hand-dyed cloth. That is the dye, not a fault
