Kernel started in 2023 as a one-window counter on Park Ave South, with a five-item menu and a single rule: everything had to be made fresh that morning, plant-based, and ready in under a minute. Three years later we still hold to that — same five-item-plus core, same morning prep, same single counter.
We don't do dine-in. We don't do delivery yet. We do pickup, fast, and we do it well.

Where we source.
Every ingredient comes from a farm within 200 miles of NYC. Our mushrooms from Ironbound, our tempeh from Wholesome Wave, our carrots from Norwich Meadows. We post the weekly list on the chalkboard at the counter.
